Mother Goose’s nest

Mother Goose is soaked in history: it was once a city castle and was later taken over by squatters before it was turned into a hotel. We offer more than a traditional hotel experience. We'll welcome you under our wings in a building where history and modern design are in perfect balance. Mother Goose offers a total of 23 rooms with a story, spread across 4 different colour-themed floors. Every floor offers different room types: small, medium, large and suite.

This cosy 16 m2 nest is equipped with all the comforts you need for your stay. These rooms are full of character with old-style elements, ideal for a romantic getaway or business traveller.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at this cosy place. Location is superb, everything is within walking distance. Our room was to the front on second floor and was very quiet. I can imagine that it gets a bit louder to the other side, but we couldn´t hear a thing. Rooms are small, but nicely decorated. The toilet was VERY small and a few spots need a little fresh paint. But again, if you are looking for a snug little place right in the heart of the city Moother Goose is a good place to go.”

“We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Mother Goose Hotel. The staff is lovely, attentive, and full of thoughtful touches. The room is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is incredibly plush! The location is central, allowing you to walk everywhere. It can be noisy outside in the evening, but the earplugs provided ensure a peaceful sleep. The breakfast served at an external restaurant is simply delicious and very generous. We will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. I came to Utrecht from Amsterdam for a little two-day getaway, and this hotel turned out to be a great choice. I got a lovely room with a beautiful interior. I’ll add lots of photos because they show it much better than words. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the whole room just felt cozy and relaxing. The receptionist was also very friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression.”
