Nothing screams Summer more than strolling around the market! In our own town, you can go to the Betonnerie, the second-chance market for everyone, every last Sunday of the month. Throughout the week, there are also various times when stalls are displayed here and there. On Friday, there is a farmers' market on Vredenburg, on Saturday a flower market on Janskerkhof and Oudegracht, and a fabric and textile market on Breedstraat. You also have a general market on Vredenburg on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
No, not in Amsterdam's famous 9 Streets, but Utrecht's 7 Streets is the place to be! These streets include Zadelstraat, Lijnmarkt, Lichte gaard, Vismarkt, Oudkerkhof, Domstraat and Domplein. You'll find fashion shops as well as various interior design shops, gift shops, restaurants and lunchrooms. Some of our favourite shops are Puha, Keck and Lisa, and Rood & Bloem.
